As the president of the Glen Cove Education Foundation (GCEF), Danielle has been the driving force behind the rebirth of this non-profit. The GCEF works to provide support and funding for things that are outside of the School district's budget. Thanks to her extensive planning, foresight, vision and love of Glen Cove, more than $400,000 has been raised for the school district.
In the last year alone, Danielle was instrumental in raising funds for flexible seating in the classrooms, a new scoreboard at the High School sports field and a baby grand piano for the music department.
Under her leadership, GCEF was able to donate money for the new electronic sign at the high school entrance and two printing presses for the students to design, create and sell merchandise. GCEF also provided funds for materials to improve the Middle School entryway and cafeteria.
Other projects include the purchase of air purifiers and touchless water filtration systems, band uniforms for the High School Marching Band, a playground at Deasy School, Gaga pits for playgrounds, funding of the Finley Middle School robotics club and district-wide master classes for all students.
Danielle and GCEF is also proud to run after school programs, theater clubs and robotics clubs at the elementary schools.

Danielle recognizes the importance of finding funding solutions for our schools' needs, that don't fall on the backs of Glen Cove tax-payers.
